Welcome to My World
From my earliest days I wanted to go to sea. In the summer of 1972 I placed my feet firmly on my seagoing future when I walked onto the campus of the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy. Since then I have sailed on most of the world's oceans aboard every kind of ship you can imagine, in the best, and worst, weather the sea can dish out. That was my life then, writing about it is my life now.
